What monitoring means
Synthetic HTTP checks from AstraScope's infrastructure: we request your site on a schedule and record the response and timing. It's a reliable, external view of whether your site is up and responding.
What it doesn't mean
It isn't continuous network-level monitoring, application performance monitoring, or real-user monitoring. It won't catch a problem that only affects logged-in users or specific regions.
The incident model
A single failed check won't alert you. A confirmed incident requires two consecutive failed checks, which avoids false alarms from momentary blips. Recovery is recorded on the first successful check afterwards. Each incident keeps a readable timeline of detection, confirmation and recovery.
Your practical detection window depends on your plan's check frequency and the two-check confirmation.
